GENTLE ETERNITY

GENTLE ETERNITY
By Einar, written for Margie upon the loss of her mother, now found.

It was a cold clear November night walking the dogs on Hunting Ridge Road.
The stars were just there.

To the left of Cassiopeia
To the right of Orion
Smallest angel, never lost
ever present
Gentle eternity, awareness, love and family,
unbroken.

Some physical link we yearn,
while all the time
those we love are ever present.
Some spiritual link we yearn,
while for all time
Our love is our bridge.

GEOGRAPHY

Geography
By Einar mapped from "Untitled" by Sean S.

Retreat to Rutledge via Spaight
Monona's winds so cold of late
Light of winter brittle gray
The other side of the tracks.

Separated from the cream
Thin milk this dairy queen
Cooperated til made lean
The other side of the tracks.

Green Lantern's light a beacon still
In the lost memories of
The other side of the hill.

A SHARD OF BUBBLEGUM IN COTTON CANDY

25Jan08geb

A SHARD OF BUBBLEGUM IN COTTON CANDY
By Einar, linking to "Shard" of Sue Chenette after JD's "Pertinacious

Sweet Grace of Deep Magic,
Answer for me this 64 gumdrop question.
How … How … How can Mars, make so a good a candy bars?

Bubblegum.

Sweet Grace whose smile's found in stars
Find I your thoughts on candy hearts?
Or is your solace space apart?
Sweet Grace of Deep Magic

Upon the moon I gazed this night
Sensed your light within my light
Sweet Grace of Deep Magic

Sweet Grace to see within my soul
I look to you and then I know
Reflected in the light of night
I find myself within your sight
Sweet Grace of Deep Magic

Those men from Mars
To make those bars
As sweet as little girls are
Take from the light of a wishing star
The scent of Venus

The sticky stuff of life we are
Your thoughts to mine entwined and bright
Breath in the sweetness of the night
And stay with me till morning.

Bubblegum.

Signboards in Rain

Signboards in Rain

By Einar reflecting upon Sue Chenette's Pretrip after Barbara Beck's Travel 1

Waving in the wind
A little beyond
Not pre-trip learned
Nor eyed on the go of marriage's unusual job
Scornful of our daredevil amateurness
Pantomime of fury unprotected
By plastic raincoats
Black on white pointing in all directions
Separated in the storm of
Sign boards sensed differently.

"Mathematician's Marriage"
Following "The mathematician to his lady love", by Sue Chenette. After φ by george vance

Fractile flow
Capillaried gift
Pulsing centeredness
Sum mated rift,
Integral fusion
Differential spark
Joined at the hip
for a walk in the park.
